British Motor Heritage (BMH), the company best known for the manufacture of replacement bodyshells and individual panels for such classic British cars as the Mini and MGB, has now added replacement carpet sets to its already extensive portfolio of parts and accessories.
Having acquired the established brand and related tooling for Concours Carpets from Concours Automotive Products, BMH is now able to provide quality carpet sets for a whole range of classic models, including the most popular 1960s/1970s ones from BMC, Ford, Jaguar, MG and Triumph. Manufactured from proven patterns at the company’s factory in Witney, Oxon, the products are purchasable via BMH’s nationwide network of Approved Specialists (see www.bmh-ltd.com for details), as well as most other major stockists of classic car parts and accessories.
Commenting on the latest of many new BMH ventures, the company’s Managing Director, Graham Payne, said: “New carpets will be the finishing touch for the vast majority of refurbishments or restorations for which we supply the hardware, so there is synergy to be gained from us moving into the world of carpet manufacture, especially with such a well-established brand.”
The announcement around Concours Carpets comes hot on the heels of BMH’s recent realignment of its other sub-brand, Tex Automotive, that now not only retails genuine Tex replacement wiper and mirror products for British cars of the 1950s, ‘60s and ‘70s, but selected items from the Castrol, Samco, Renovo and EBC brake ranges – further details of which can be found at www.texautomotive.com
