Classic car traders Hangar 136 set to join specialist community at Bicester Heritage

Bicester Heritage welcomes the latest Specialist business to its unique site with dynamic classic car dealership Hangar 136.

Established to help bring the wonders of classic motoring to the next generation of classic car owners, Hangar 136 offers a young enthusiastic experience for customers looking to buy or sell a classic car, and is set to base its operations at Bicester Heritage.

Driven by the excitement and passion of its two young founders in broadening the accessibility of classic motoring, Hangar 136 works with carefully selected partners to drive the business’ mission forward. From classic car finance specialists Charles & Dean, to leading warranty provider Warrantywise, Hangar 136 offers customers a comprehensive range of bespoke finance packages, as well as three-, six- or 12-month curated warranty options for each car.

Hangar 136 complements the quality of its vehicle stock with equal care and dedication to preserving classic cars’ lustre, becoming the latest UK distributor for premium car cover specialist Goodwool – allowing customers to preserve their pride and joy with fully tailor-made and customised merino wool covers.

Through its partnership with HERO-ERA, Hangar 136 also has exclusive access to one of the historic car industry’s largest global communities, with an aim of supporting today’s classic car community while also encouraging the community of tomorrow. Through this partnership, the brand aims to establish itself as the ‘go-to’ trading platform for the purchase and sale of historic rally-, race- and event-prepared cars.

Bicester Heritage, part of the Bicester Motion umbrella brand, celebrates all aspects of motion, from historic motoring and racing, to aviation, EV and autonomous flight. Hangar 136’s existing partnership with HERO-ERA and passion for vintage cars will make the company a welcome addition to Bicester Heritage.

Daniel Geoghegan, Chief Executive of Bicester Motion, comments: “Hangar 136 has an ethos and knowledge that is truly in line with our Bicester Heritage vision, and it’s a pleasure to have them join us as part of our specialist community.”

Oliver Gatland-Pendleton, Associate Director, adds: “From a young age I have always loved classic cars, so being part of this new Hangar 136 project feels like I have truly found my path. We are looking forward to making Bicester our home.
