Nobody needs reminding of the prohibitive cost of fuel these days, so all the more reason for keeping it under lock and key. To help the cause British Motor Heritage group company Tex Automotive has recently added to its already sizeable stock of petrol filler caps for a whole range of classic cars, from the Austin A30 to the Wolseley Hornet. In most cases there is the option of vented and non-vented types in either black or chrome finish, as well as non-locking varieties for those who want to keep things simple.
The most recent additions to the range include caps for the Triumph TR7 (1975-1981), Herald (1960-1971), Vitesse (1960-1971), 2000 (1963-1967), Dolomite (1972-1980), and Toledo (1970-1976). By popular demand there’s also now a black, locking cap suitable for facelift MKI Ford Capris.
Details of the full line-up of caps as well as Tex’s myriad other lines of competitively-priced mirrors, wipers, brakes, coolant hoses, lubricants, accessories and general lifestyle products is available at www.texautomotive.com
