The Lead Judges are Alastair Clements (Editor-in-Chief, Classic & Sports Car), Steve Cropley (Editor-in-Chief, Autocar), David Lillywhite (Editorial Director of Magneto), Vanessa  Marçais (historic motorsport competitor and event organizer), Tom Purves (Chairman of Motorsport UK Council and a Vice President of the Royal Automobile Club), Simon Taylor (journalist, TV commentator and former Editor of Autosport and Managing Director of Haymarket Magazines), Ian Titchmarsh (motor racing commentator and Chair of Silverstone Heritage) and Jeremy Vaughan (Head of Motoring for The Royal Automobile Club).

StarterMotor, the charity which encourages young people to take up careers in the historic vehicle industry and to enjoy historic cars, is a new partner for the Awards this year, joining renowned German luxury watchmaker A. Lange & Söhne, centre of excellence for historic motoring Bicester Heritage, wealth managers 1762 from Brewin Dolphin, specialist insurers Footman James and classic motoring event organiser HERO.

The winners will be announced on 26th November 2020, when the Club will also present the Royal Automobile Club Lifetime Achievement Award, celebrating an individual who has made a truly outstanding contribution to British motoring and/or motorsport heritage over many decades.
