Two More Products Added to BMH’s Rapidly Growing List of Replacement Classic Car Parts

As part of a dramatic revamping of its range of replacement parts for Austin, Austin Healey, MG, Morris and Triumph vehicles of the ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s, British Motor Heritage (BMH) has now added the following pair of small but worthy items to its ever-growing stock – an MG Midget grille badge plinth, and gear lever knob that’s applicable to a number of Triumph models from the Herald to the TR6.

The details are as follows:

Chrome Grille Badge Plinth (RA2069)

(recommended retail price: £50.00 excl. VAT)

A lug-type push-fit plinth that fits all MG Midgets from 1961 to 1969 that are equipped with a chrome slatted grille (NB badge not included)

MG Badge Plinth (recommended retail price: £50.00 excl. VAT)
Triumph Gear Lever Knob (22B19)

(recommended retail price: £12.00 excl. VAT)

Originally fitted to the BMC J4 van, this spherical replacement item is a ‘universal’ fit for a range of Triumph models irrespective of their gearboxes or lever gates, as it has no gate pattern printed or engraved on it. The models for which it is applicable include:

  • Herald – most models
  • Spitfire MKI-III – all models
  • Spitfire IV – all models
  • Vitesse – all models
  • TR4-4A – all models
  • TR5 – but not the TR250
  • TR6 – CP chassis numbers up to CP53853 only
Triumph Gear Lever Knob (recommended retail price: £12.00 excl. VAT)

Both these items are available now from BMH, orders for which should be placed via the company’s related Approved Specialists, full details of which can be found on the comprehensive new British Motor Heritage website:
